No. 1 screen is the original auditorium with its 1930s ambience
and 400 seats in stalls and circle.
No. 2 is a self-contained cinema with 100 seats and air-conditioning.
No 3 is a studio cinema with 65 seats and air conditioning.
3D films at normal film prices. Glasses £1.50 to keep;
children's glasses available
Wurlitzer At The Royalty
The Royalty Cinema also houses a rare Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ
dating from 1927. It is a 2 manual instrument of 7 ranks.
Originally installed in a Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio,
it came to England in 1934 to be installed in the Rex Cinema in Stratford, East London.
It remained there until the early 1970's when it was removed and put into storage.
It is now owned by The Furness Theatre Organ Project
who began its restoration in spring 2007.
On completion, the first concert was held in October 2012.
Concerts are held monthly between Spring and Autumn,
with special events at other times
